The project took off as an idea to make a tent, that would go in to a smaller package and also be easy to erect. The foundation for the tent is a flexible joint that gives tension to the structure. The joint folds easily in one direction, but gives resistance in the other, thereby creating a natural stop. The project explores also how this quality can be used across a variety of temporary applications, from event spaces to emergency situations.

This project ended up being more of a study of flexible joints and foldable structures rather than strictly focusing on the end product.
